Lewanda Lance Jordan, DVM
Dr. Jordan received a Bachelor of Science degree in Animal and Dairy Sciences from Auburn University in 1999. She continued her education and earned her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine degree from Auburn University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2004. Following graduation from vet school, Dr. Jordan worked at Coffee Veterinary Hospital until she opened her own practice, Woodbury Veterinary Hospital, in 2010.
Dr. Jordan has been practicing veterinary medicine as a licensed veterinarian since 2004, however, she has been working in the animal industry since she was 14 years old and began cleaning out cages. Dr. Jordan is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association and the Tennessee Veterinary Medical Association. As a veterinarian and a pet owner, she is constantly amazed by the strength and capacity of the human-animal bond.
Dr. Jordan and her husband, David, have three children. Their pet family consists of a collection of goats, chickens, dogs, and cats; she still misses her “heart,” Cowboy, every day. Dr. Jordan has a special spot in her heart for coon dogs. When she is not working, Dr. Jordan enjoys cooking, cake decorating, fishing, and quilting.
